Park Slope: Old Stone House 2025

Pictures taken on October 26, 2025. This is the Costume Showcase at the Old Stone House in Washington Park organized by Park Slope Parents. This year it was a showcase instead of a contest. Everyone got a prize for doing a walk across the stage.
Most pictures taken with a 16-36mm equivalent lens and backlight flash. The showcase pictures (from 11:59 to 12:17) taken with a 100-400mm equivalent lens.

1: 10:47 AM. An octopus coming out of a house at the corner of 2nd St and 6th Ave.

2: 10:57 AM. Peppa Pig with mummy and daddy pig.

3: 11:05 AM. A Spirit Halloween Ride-Along Bulldozer costume. The bucket can take candy. Mom is wearing the hat that came with the costume.

4: 11:25 AM. Grizzy and a little Lemming. A French animated television series.

5: 11:30 AM. A dragon from Wings of Fire (novel series). Her own creation. With a construction of Zooble from the animated web series The Amazing Digital Circus. Zooble is carrying a Mr. Tall doll.

6: 11:34 AM. A robot family.

7: 11:56 AM. A construction of Little Free Library. "Take a Book. Share a Book."

8: 11:59 AM. A Minion family with bananas, the favorite food of the Minions. From the Despicable Me franchise.

9: 12:02 PM. A mixed family. What is the theme? Children are a mummy and a homemade skeleton costume. Left could be a bounty hunter?

10: 12:02 PM. Two alligators: Mom and baby alligator.

11: 12:03 PM. A witch, a wizard and a little frog.

12: 12:03 PM. Pixar's Ratatouille.

13: 12:04 PM. Care Bears: Flower Power Bear, a pink Cheer Bear, then a green Good Luck Bear. The dog is a Cheer Bear.

14: 12:05 PM. A dragon from Wings of Fire (novel series). Her own creation.

15: 12:05 PM. A beetle costume. There were a lot of legs sticky out the back.

18: 12:09 PM. The children are wearing jerseys for the soccer team AC Milan. The "Emirates FLY BETTER" is a known sponsor for AC Milan. The parents are wearing jerseys for the Buffalo Bills.
